My husband and I had Jenny as our wedding planner and we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received. Jenny provided excellent support in putting together our perfect wedding, which was no small task. The brief was 180 people, and two venues in a tucked away corner of Cornwall. Our reception was in a marquee in my parent’s back garden which meant everything had to be provided by an outside supplier, from the wine to the chairs and so on – logistically a tall order. Nevertheless, Jenny brought it all together for us. She was responsive, efficient, thoughtful and a genuinely lovely person to be around. Indeed a number of our friends and family remarked to us how great they thought she was both in the lead-up and on our big day. Throughout the whole process she had an incredible knack for intuitively knowing what we did/didn’t like, without us really having to spell it out, which is a real asset of Jenny’s and made the whole process effortless on our part. We really couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner and would highly recommend Jenny and her team!

She is the fairy godmother of weddings! With a sprinkle of magic, Jenny made our wedding dreams come true. She took our fragments of dreams and turned them into a golden, glowing reality: enchanting bride draped in French lace; 13th century church; tumbling peonies, picturesque lambs, sparklers lighting the night sky as the couple drove off in a vintage Rolls. Perfection. Both winsome and amazingly efficient, Jenny tackles any need or desire you have for a wedding. She sources hard-to-find items; she tackles difficult projects; she works tirelessly and with great good cheer, and in the end, we all live happily ever after! If you are one of those people who would never hire a wedding planner, think again. As an aesthetically opinionated and detail-oriented mother of the bride, I didn't trust anyone else's taste. I was determined to do things myself. I waited half-way through the process before contacting Jenny, and I later wished I had done so the day after the engagement. She would have saved so much hassle and planning. As it was, she made our daughter's beautiful Cornwall wedding come to life. No detail was too small; no unusual request too challenging; no task too much. She managed it all with grace and skill. She is smart, efficient, charming and unbelievably hard-working. We simply could not have given our daughter the exquisitely romantic wedding we all enjoyed at Boconnoc without her.

Jenny recently organised for my wife and I our 60th birthday party in Harlyn Bay North Cornwall. She is fantastically well organised and brought some real added value to the event planning. We did very little and she took care of everything.
We and our 130 guests all live outside of the county but she mobilised the entire guestlist to be there on time. A number of our friends have commented how superbly well she organised the event ( and most of them are people who run their own businesses and who know what added value is really all about). Thank you Jenny for contributing in a big way to the huge success of the evening . If anyone is reading this just book her. You wont be disappointed !

I don't know where to begin writing this review. I've thought about it for the last few days, how I can put my appreciation into words and not sure any words will do Jen justice! Simon and I had our wedding at Port Elliot, Cornwall. We were planning from the USA and needed guidance. I am in awe of how much work Jen put into our wedding, countless hours for up to 12 months prior. I can not stop reliving the wedding day in my mind, everyone has commented on how flawless the day was. From every little detail to the flow of the events on the day. Even if I weren't planning from across the pond I would want Jen by my side on my wedding day! I did not look at a watch at any point of the day/night, Jen guided the day perfectly and thats why I was able to enjoy the wedding as much as I did. Our parents did not need to stress about timings, or things to do. Not only was Jen a true professional and amazing at what she does, but she is the most amazing/genuine person EVER!! Thanks Jen for making our wedding day a TRUE REAL LIFE FAIRYTALE. I am still pinching myself, I can not get over it. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day ten times better than we ever could have imagined, in our wildest dreams!

Jenny became a friend instantly the first day we met her at the exact wedding venue we ended up getting married in a year and half later. Jenny is warm, kind, attentive and a genuine pleasure to be around. Nothing is too much trouble and I mean nothing. Jenny is a serious fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things events and in particularly wedding events. On our actual wedding day Jenny was a like a maid of honour to me and was responsible for everything running seamlessly. Thank you Jenny, we loved our day and couldn't imagine the 1.5 years planning without you. Big love, thanks and gratitude. 

We vetted several wedding planners - for several reasons I was apprehensive about this concept - firstly the cost and whether it was worth the “extra” expense and secondly I was slightly nervous about the expertise and understanding that might be demonstrated for a gay (male) wedding.

Jenny was our last “interview” and our first impressions were spot on, from the first time we met her, during the planning phase, and many months later during the day and evening events. She was highly experienced with bags of knowledge, passionate, professional, conscientious and also great fun.

As mother of the bride, planning a wedding from across the Atlantic Ocean is not an easy task. How do I begin to thank you Jenny, for all your help, guidance and suggestions with Meg and Simon's wedding. I know you heard me say this many times throughout their special day, but honestly we could not have planned it without you. You are truly amazing as a wedding planner, but even more amazing as a wonderful person. You anticipated every single detail that we never even thought of.  Your assistant Jess deserves some recognition as well, you are a great role model for her to learn from. Jess, the s'mores table presentation was just beautiful. To both of you, walking into the marquee the day of the wedding left me speechless and brought tears to my eyes. We all appreciate the time and efforts by both of you to have everything look so beautiful. The best thing, I got to enjoy every second of the wedding as I did not have to worry about one thing all day, you both made sure that things went smoothly. Jenny, I will miss our Skype meetings, but hopefully will see you here in Boston as our guests when you can get some time off. Thank you, again from the bottom of my heart.

To put it simply, our wedding wouldn't have happened without Jenny. Ignoring the fact she was the linchpin of the day itself, she became a friend, expert and counsellor (sorry jen!) during the planning.

We loved working with Jenny, her creative vision and practical mind made all our hairbrained schemes a reality. she's no-nonsense and always on your side – something so important when entering into the scary world of weddings. Our family adored her on the day too, so many people have commented on how expert she was and the smooth nature of proceedings, none of which would have been the case if she wasn't there.

Jenny made my dreams come true. I really do not know where to start, I would highly recommend Jenny she has a wealth of knowledge of the best caterers, suppliers, decor, photographers I could go on and on. It was difficult for us to plan our wedding as we are not from Cornwall and live in Warwickshire now looking back we choose our dog friendly Venue Cosawes Barton and from there on we were introduced to Jenny who just took care of everything else. After our one and only meeting of which we talked about our wedding style and colour schemes, our wedding breakfast and the rest... Jenny sourced and planned our wedding. Exceptional attention to detail our wedding breakfast setup was stunning to reminding me to buy easy heels (ladies only you will know walking in heels in stunning grounds). A remarkable woman who is very passionate in her work and it certainly shows. Thanks Jenny.

An absolutely perfect service from Jenny and the team at Jenny Wren Weddings and Events. They organised our business launch with incredible attention to detail. Knowing that events is what they do, and do brilliantly, it took a huge amount of pressure off us in the build up to the launch. We could also focus on the night on representing our brand, and not having to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. We cannot recommend Jenny Wren's enough!

Jenny went above and beyond both in run up to and on the day of our wedding. Without her our wedding wouldn't have happened. What we really appreciated and loved about her was that she was so willing and open to understand our vision for the wedding despite that it wasn't your typical traditional wedding. She understood how we wanted to make it unique and also understood what was important to us so that she could enhance those areas (for us it was the food, music, and how we did our ceremony), while the "boring" or less important stuff she happily took over so that we didn't need to. She was magic on the day of too. Neither of us had to stress about details and logistics, our guests' needs were attended to while we were able to enjoy ourselves completely stress free and soak in our special day. She was a joy to be around and every one of our guests commented about how friendly and amazing she was too. Jenny was such a joy to work with, always with a smile and calmness to her and we would recommend her to anyone who's planning a wedding whatever size, shape, or form! Thanks again Jenny! Couldn't have been more perfect and it was thanks to you!!!

Jenny was vital to the whole experience. My mother said ‘Jenny isn’t a luxury she’s a necessity’. She was so calm, organised and efficient. I will never forget seeing her drive past in the golf buggy one handed whilst holding a stack of chairs in the other, still smiling. I can’t recommend her more. She’s the perfect wedding planner, always in the right place, but never intrusive. She was even getting married herself the same Summer as me but was unflappable! Apart from anything else, she enables my mother and I to enjoy the day and forget about the practical things. Thank you Jenny. Truly.

Jenny is a star. Do not hesitate to book her, she will be the best money that you spend! Jenny was a life saver from 6 months before the wedding when we employed her services until the very end of the day itself. We had suppliers booked that ended up not being legit and she helped us in the middle of her hectic schedule, to find amazing replacements that far surpassed the previous suppliers. Living in Kent and marrying in Cornwall is a bit of a logistical nightmare but Jenny was so helpful with her recommendations and local knowledge; she really does know all the best people!! Our only regret is that we didn't find and book Jenny sooner!! She has the loveliest and friendliest personality and she is so kind and warm that you can't help but love her! She is so involved on the day but also so discreet. She is calm and collected (which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!) and she had everything in hand the whole day. Jenny really felt like a true friend on the day and nothing was too much trouble. My Mum and I kept saying that 'thank god' we had hired Jenny to help us out and we were not disappointed. We would highly recommend Jenny for any event and if you are a stressed our Bride reading this, then you best book Jenny now!! Thank you Jenny from the bottom of our hearts, you are the best and we are so grateful. 

Jenny oversaw the on the day co-ordination and day before set up for my daughter's wedding. As a Mother of the bride, I couldn't recommend her more highly. There is so much to do on a wedding day, but Jenny worked very hard, pulled everything together and quietly made sure everything we planned for happened smoothly on the day, plus many other things we hadn't thought of. This made the day so much more special and fun. Jenny's calm and professional help meant I had stress free time to support my Daughter, special time for which I will always be grateful. It also allowed the Bride and Groom to relax and enjoy the happy day I had wished for them. Thank you Jenny. 

I honestly can't thank Jenny enough for her everything that she did on the run up to, during and after our wedding day and can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for an expert pair of hands to make their wedding go so smoothly. From the get go, Jenny was on hand to help with any question, query or concern - nothing was too much trouble, despite the day of the week or time of day. On the wedding day itself she completely took on any element of organisation/coordination/stress which left myself and my husband with more time to spend with our loved ones, enjoying ourselves and dancing the night away. To anyone that is considering contacting Jenny to coordinate their wedding, do! She literally made our wedding day so special and go without a hitch, and for that - we owe her everything

Grooms words... As a Naval Officer marrying a Teacher (who both tell people what to do all day) I was adamant that we didn’t need a wedding planner. How wrong I was!  The more we met with Jenny, the more I understood the need for a wedding planner. (In a blasé manner, I assumed everyone would just turn up and the wedding would happen). Jenny was talking about things I didn’t even know needed addressing. Her passion to turn our vision into a success was no doubt down to her meticulous attention to detail and non stop work ethic. Jenny was utterly fixated on ensuring my wife, I and our guests all enjoyed our day. 

 

I cannot thank Jenny enough! She goes above and beyond and makes the wedding day a breeze, She is so lovely and positive too and made me completely relaxed on my wedding day. What's more is she even sourced hay bales last minute for us! I couldn't imagine how different the day would be if she wasn't there making it run smoothly. She was on hand to help every step of the way and so quick at getting back to me at every question I asked. Thank you Jenny, you really are a star x x x .

 

My husband and I cannot thank Jenny Wren and her team enough for such invaluable help leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We felt so incredibly lucky to work with such wonderful people. They were sunshine from start to finish, nothing was left unchecked and the experience was stress free and seamless. My family came up to me on numerous occasions to say how impressed they were with how calm I was and how amazing my support was! Jenny was a life line on more than multiple occasions, whenever my wife needed her she was available and interested and adept at ensuring the problem was not only dealt with but also that little to no anxiety was left as a result of her reassuring words. This was all on the lead up to our 5 day wedding, but throughout the 5 days she went above and beyond to ensure the days ran smoothly and was always on hand to provide advice and direction. Jenny Wren created the most magical & meaningful memories for my husband & I. We live in Chicago and were planning on a vacation in Cornwall with some family & friends sharing a house in New Polzeath. My partner & I decided to plan a surprise wedding while we were already in one of our favorite places with our loved ones. I found Jenny's website & decided to write her. She was so sweet & warm & loved the idea of a surprise wedding for our guests. She Skyped with us a few times & really got to know the things we liked. With only a couple of months to plan she found & planned everything for us that completely captured our personality. She found the lovely beach where we got married, she hired a bus to take us and our guests, she met us at the beach with a tray of scrolls that were the invitations which shocked our delighted guests. She led our guests to a beautiful set up on the beach with a draped structure, she even found the perfect celebrants that personalized our ceremony. Jenny made sure that all the details from flowers, guitar player, champagne as well as baby's breath and hair pin for my hair were taken care of. I don't know how she did it but even the weather cooperated. My husband and I had the most memorable and meaningful day. Our family and friends were so surprised and delighted. We could not have managed any of it without Jenny tending to all of the plans. Everything worked out perfectly. Thank you Jenny for memories that will last a lifetime. Our family will never forget it.

Our wedding day just wouldn't have been as magical and enjoyable if Jenny hadn't been coordinating it for us. She took on the responsibility of keeping the day on schedule and making sure all those little special touches weren't forgotten. We were at totally at ease and all we had to do was enjoy our day without any worry. Thanks so much for making our wedding day perfect Jenny!

Choosing Jenny to be our wedding coordinator was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I made whilst planning our ‘Big Day’. She was incredibly supportive from the onset, going above and beyond what we would have expected to ensure the final planning stages of our wedding were as smooth as possible. She was super flexible and accommodating, enabling us to organise our wedding in our very own way, regardless of my many ‘crazy’ ideas! I honestly could not recommend her more highly.

We found the perfect location for our wedding in Cornwall but live in Buckinghamshire so contacted Jenny for some help and advice. From that moment on she ensured that every last detail was looked after, offering suggestions when we needed ideas and solutions when we knew what we wanted but weren’t sure how to achieve it. She has a vast network of amazing suppliers and such a friendly and professional manner that you find it difficult feel anything other than excitement throughout the whole process. Our wedding day was incredible, everything we had hoped for and more. The fact that we arrived at our big day in such a relaxed frame of mind is due entirely to Jenny’s help along the way. You make a lot of choices when you decide to get married, choosing to have Jenny as our wedding planner was easily one of our best. Thank you so much Jenny.

What can we say! From the very beginning of the planning to beyond the end of the wedding Jenny was incredible & turned what was going to be just a lovely day, into our perfect wedding. My partner and I live near Bath and had decided to get married in Cornwall due to our love of the beach & I don't think we'd have managed it without her help. The way Jenny worked with me gave me the space to still be in control of the whole day whilst she seemed to effortlessly support me and manage everything from behind the scenes. She contacted suppliers, the venue, local craftsmen and others to make sure that we had everything we wanted & all within our budget. She shared her own amazing ideas when help was asked for and she added so many beautiful touches to our beach wedding that there are too many to name. Jenny has been nothing short of a godsend (even played with our daughter whilst we tried to pack up the next day!), and her help on the actual day is hard to justify with words. She ensured that we had the perfect wedding & without a doubt went above and beyond what was expected of her. We cannot imagine we'd have had such a beautiful day without her expertise and endless encouragement (always at the end of my emails!). We married in July this year at the Alverton Manor Truro. I decided to enlist Jenny's help as I was concerned it would be really difficult to manage all the different suppliers we were using leading up to the day, as well as on the day itself! Jenny totally put me at ease,she went through all the arrangements with a fine tooth comb! Using her knowledge and experience to quickly fix any mistakes I had made! Keeping me informed every step of the way! The day itself ran like clock work, Jenny was so professional and friendly, she liaised brilliantly with the Alverton team and really went above and beyond to ensure not only we were looked after extremely well, but the guests were also taken care of, which was very important to me.I can't thank Jenny enough for everything she did for us.The service she gave us was so personal, it really helped make our day special.

Cornwall was the first holiday that I went on with my fiancée Meg when we first started going out, so I knew that I ideally wanted to propose there! There was one small problem – I live over 250 miles away! Logistically I knew that this was going to be a real challenge to setup without some help. Jenny is quite simply incredible! I could not have been in a safer pair of hands. I brainstormed some ideas that I had with Jenny and she totally got how I wanted the proposal to play out. We ended up with a shortlist of 3 locations and the lovely thing about Jenny is that she was 100% behind me going for any of these spots whilst at the same time discussing with me well thought out logical pros and cons. In the end we opted for Lusty Glaze, which was a location Jenny had recommended. The proposal was incredible! There is no way in a million years I could have pulled it off on my own. Even 2 months later, myself and Meg still regularly about how magical it was! It’s a moment that will live with us both for the rest of our lives! Thank you Jenny – I had massive ambitions for my engagement to Meg and you made it all possible

I have known Jenny since she started and have always found her events to be excellent. When I set up my private members organisation ( the Samphire Club) Jenny was one of the first people I partnered with. She recently organised my launch party for 140 people with a calm efficiency that was a joy. More importantly she helped soothe my nerves and handled my inability to control my guest list with huge tact and patience! Cannot thank her enough and look forward to working with her on a regular basis!

I have known Jenny for a number of years through my work on Wedding Ideas and RocknRoll Bride magazines. We met the first time I stayed at Gwel An Mor, where Jenny was working at the time, and we hit it off from the start. You can't help but hit it off with Jenny - she's sweet, kind, funny and brilliant at what she does - the consummate professional. When we decided to have our very small and intimate wedding at Gwel An Mor this year, Jenny immediately came to mind as the perfect person to orchestrate our dream day. Always available but never in your face, friendly and fun but not too familiar, quietly competent, assured and professional, I have no doubt that Jenny is set to be one of the biggest stars of the wedding world and I am delighted to count on her as one of my very trusted friends.
